Accessories

In conjunction with our seamstress we offer accessories such as weather protection covers. Sheep-skin seat covers. Custom work. Again - feel free to ask. We can do all sorts!

From an electric reclining model to a lightweight fold-up aluminium model - and all in between. Select a model that best suits your needs - I am pretty confident we can help.

Scooters

I offer both a 4whl direct differential drive Deluxe mobility scooter and a 2 wheel fat tyre scooter I have dubbed the 'Fat-Rat. This is a mobility solution for a little more fun if balance isn't a major issue for you. Please - browse our pictures.

No apologies. I’m a picky so and so. One time Senior Engineer Quality Assurance for Nissan in NZ - the lessons learnt have stayed with me. My suppliers MUST be highly accredited and in this I seek CE/ EU/ FDA/ ISO as starting points before selecting product samples to examine first-hand. Only products from well established companies with track records and performance statistics to match will make my line-up. This surety in what is on offer is what gives me full confidence in standing behind what I sell. It is better than fit for purpose. Even products at amazingly low price point still have to meet this companies high expectations.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT

7 days a week

It’s a hard road finding the perfect mobility aid no matter where we sit in our life cycle and with our various challenges. Keeping this in mind I feel it appropriate I respond 7 days a week to any and every question and have done so now for 2 1/2 years. Note please - answers are most often by email – I have found my mobile phone and I don’t get along. I keep putting it down then wandering off only to wonder later what happened to it....sigh......I blame it on my age! Of further note - Mobility Aids NZ carries a good range of spare parts so don't ever fret we would leave you in a pickle - in an emergency I have been known to disable a 'stock' chair by stealing from it to ensure our customer wasn't left wanting.

It’s a tight old competitive world out there. No question. Pricing though can be as low as a seller wishes to make it. I opt to offer the best price I can by passing my buying power (full containers not odds n sods) pricing onto my customers by selling at low margins. My accountant thinks I have rocks in my head and may be right – she asked if I wanted to apply for Govt assistance! Oh dear! Either way it’s a recipe I intend to follow. I cordially invite comparison with competitors apples with apples. You will be delighted.

My family - both sides - been here for many generations. Proud as punch. And with the intrinsic love of rugby, racing, beer (sigh,....) fishing and anything on wheels....reckon you would hard pressed to find a more grounded Kiwi. Anyways - I (my names Mike - I'm the owner) had my 60th birthday in 2019 and intend to continue having my company achieve the highest levels of service we here in Gods Own should expect – and for many years to come believe you me!
